Needle Lace Leaf Picture
This is an adaptation of a class I took at EGA National 2002, taught by Lynn Payette. I took the class to learn needle lace, which I dearly love. I changed the colors because that's what I always do, softening them. I did this by replacing the metallic thread outlines with softer fall colors. After looking at the finished product, I now wish I'd made the background lines disappear by using a thread that matched the background. It took an enormous amount of time and was great fun.
