Day Lily and Iris Picture

Here's a picture of Day Lily and Iris on a crazy quilt background. These pieces were from a class designed and taught by Barbara Mayo Grass. I took the class to learn her shading technique, but ended up learning so much more, including how to paint canvas. I love the format of her designs because she uses simple stitches to achieve such incredible results, and I have taken yet another class from her. I would strongly recommend taking a class from her whenever available.
